Shows you how to use the Route Planner to see your races on a map and simulate new routes to check for conflicts with other federations.
The Route Planner overlays every scheduled race on a map so you can see flight paths and spot potential issues.
From Race Control, tap Plan Routes at the top. The Route Planner opens with a large map on the left and a planning panel on the right.
Use the date picker at the top to select a date. The map will load all races scheduled for that day. Your federation's routes appear in teal, other federations' routes appear in grey.
Tap Filters to narrow down what you see. You can filter by federation, direction (North, East, South, or West), and minimum or maximum distance in miles.
The ghost route tool lets you test hypothetical race routes against real scheduled races to find clashes.
In the Planning Route panel on the right, set a simulated date and time. Search for a Liberation Point and a Furthest Point. Tap Check Route. A dashed grey line appears on the map showing your ghost route.
After checking, the results panel shows the weather at your liberation point with temperature, rain, and wind warnings. Any other routes that clash with your ghost route appear as cards with a risk level — High, Medium, or Low — and show how many minutes apart the birds would cross paths.
Use the ghost route planner before you schedule a new race. It shows you if your proposed route will clash with any existing races from other federations.
The Route Planner is for visualisation only. It does not create or schedule races. To add a new race, go to Club Secretary and use the Race Schedule.
