What PigeonIQ Does
Some of the best parts are easy to miss. Here is what PigeonIQ is doing behind the screens, in plain English.
Records and pedigrees
The parts that keep one bird's history in one place.
One bird, one record
When a ring number appears in a pedigree, a result or another loft, PigeonIQ links it to the same bird. You get one history for that pigeon, not three copies.
OpenPaper in, family tree out
Photograph a paper pedigree. PigeonIQ reads the ring numbers and names, then builds the family tree up to six generations. No typing.
OpenThe bird's history, looked up
PigeonIQ searches the web for the ring number and adds the bird's name, breeder and race record when it finds them. You can check the sources before you trust them.
Print the pedigree
Export a branded A4 pedigree with a QR code that opens the digital record. Useful for sales, gifts and the club folder.
OpenHealth on one timeline
Vaccinations, treatments and checks sit on one timeline for each bird. You can see what is due and what was done.
OpenClaim a bird from a result
If your bird appears in a result before you have added it, PigeonIQ tells you and lets you claim it in one tap. No retyping the ring.
Race day
The parts that help a club make a safer call on the day.
Clash warning
If another club is releasing birds nearby at the same time on a crossing route, PigeonIQ warns the race controller before release. You can hold the birds and avoid a mix-up.
Weather at three points
See the wind and weather at the release point, mid-route and home, including wind at pigeon height. You can judge the whole flight, not just the start.
OpenOne score for the day
Weather, visibility, sunrise, solar activity, wind and clashes become one score out of 100, with the reasons. You still make the call.
Results read and linked
Photograph a result sheet or clocking slip. PigeonIQ reads the times, works out the velocities and links every win back to the right bird.
OpenBreeding and insight
The parts that help you see patterns across a season, not just one race.
Breeding checks
See how closely two birds are related over six generations, then compare their pedigrees and wins side by side. Better information before you pair them.
OpenSearch the global database
Search any ring number, fancier or club and see the pedigree and race history behind it.
OpenSeason insight
See which birds and pairs performed, with clockings, velocities and how they finished against the rest of the entry. The season review turns the year into one story.
OpenIf you run a club
For secretaries and race controllers. Fanciers can skip this part.
Club tools
Schedule races, manage members, upload ETS results and publish to the club. The race-day dashboard also shows clashes, weather and a release score.
Still in development
Bloodline performance, predictive pairing, velocity trends and race difficulty are not live yet. We will explain them when they are ready.
