Reads the text and names from a paper pedigree and builds a digital family tree you can edit and print.
Take a photo or upload a file. Both handwritten and printed pedigrees work.
In My Loft, tap the add-bird button. Choose the Scan a Pedigree tab.
Tap the upload area. You can take a photo, upload a file, or drag and drop. Handwritten or printed pedigrees up to 10MB are supported.
Use good lighting and make sure the full pedigree is visible in the photo. Cropped or blurry images may not read correctly.
PigeonIQ reads the document and shows you what it found. Check everything before saving.
Tap Read Document. PigeonIQ will extract the pedigree data. The status shows Reading then Enriching while it works.
The Review Pedigree screen shows each ancestor slot. Check the ring numbers and names. Badges show From photo, Database match, or Low confidence. Fix any missing rings before saving.
Tap Done. The bird and its pedigree are saved to your loft. If there are database matches, they will be linked automatically.
Badges show how confident PigeonIQ is about each ancestor. Low confidence items may need manual correction.
Handwritten pedigrees can be harder to read. If the read fails, try again with better lighting or type the details in manually.
